Where Science Meets Clarity

On what's actually happening at the frontier of science and AI.

What You Get

Each Wednesday issue is a single piece on one specific subject. Between 1,200 and 2,000 words. Built around five to seven items, drawn from publicly available sources, with the synthesis at the end.

Topics rotate across AI capabilities and failure modes, robotics and physical AI, the philosophy and practice of science, scientific reproducibility and methodology, technology adoption patterns, and the economics of frontier research.

Shorter pieces appear during the week as warranted. Field notes, single observations, working drafts.

Cadence and Tone

  • One Wednesday issue, every week.
  • Shorter pieces 1-3 times a week, when there's something worth saying.
  • Direct, specific, curious. Slightly contrarian when the evidence supports it.
  • No sponsored content. No affiliate links. No tracking pixels beyond what the email platform requires.

Free and Paid Tiers

Free tier. Every Wednesday issue, in full. Every short-form piece. Full archive access. No paywalls during the launch period.

Supporter tier (coming soon). A paid tier will launch in the coming months for readers who want to support the work. The Wednesday issue will remain free. The supporter tier will add a monthly extended piece going deeper than the weekly issues, the full link archive, and the occasional reading list. Pricing will be modest. Details when it ships.
